Write to hello@scalecomposer.com. Questions, corrections and requests all arrive in the same place, and they are answered by the person who builds the tool and writes the guides. If you would rather ask in public — where the answer might help somebody else with the same problem — @scalecomposer on X works just as well.

What to write about

Something is broken. A scale that computes the wrong values, an export that a tool refuses to load, a shared link that opens the wrong state, a dead link in a guide. Say which page you were on and which browser you used — with a shared link if the problem is in the tool, since the link carries the whole state and lets the fault be reproduced exactly.

A guide is wrong or out of date. The guides quote formulas, contrast ratios and browser behaviour, and any of those can be mistaken or can age. Point at the sentence and say what it should say instead. Corrections are made directly in the article.

An export format is missing. Requests for a framework, format or design tool that isn't covered yet are useful — they are how the export list has grown.

Licensing and reuse. What you export is yours to use freely, including commercially. Questions beyond that — reusing the guides, the generation logic, or the name — belong here.

How long it takes

Messages are read on weekdays and usually answered within a few days. This is a small project, not a support desk with a response guarantee, so a clear description of what you expected and what happened instead gets you a useful answer faster than a general report.

Things there is nothing to look up

There are no accounts, so there is no login to recover and no subscription to cancel. Your compositions are never uploaded, so there is no saved work on our side to retrieve or delete — closing the tab is the deletion. The privacy policy describes what is and isn't handled.

Who is behind it

Scale Composer is built and run in Sweden as part of a larger toolchain for building brand and design systems. The about page explains what the tool does and how it works.
